What you will find
- Liberty 1997-2003 (2T and 4T): LH and RH with M8 thread.
- Liberty from 2004: the chrome Liberty / Vespa LX pair and the LH with reverse thread (left-hand M8) for the 2011-2023 versions.
- Liberty Sport 2006-2008: black-chrome LH and RH.
- Liberty iGet from 2024: LH left-hand M10x1.25 and RH M10x1.25, plus the 72 cm oversized windscreen with hand guards (2025-2026).
How to choose
On the Liberty the tricky part is the LH mirror: between 2009 and 2023 some versions have a standard thread, others a left-hand thread (it screws in anticlockwise). Unscrew the stock mirror and check the direction before ordering. Mirrors are sold one per side, as seen by the seated rider. Search by Motorcycle finds your version.
Years and versions covered
First series: Liberty 50 2T from 1997, Liberty 125 and 150 from 1998 and 50 4T from 2000, up to 2003; Liberty 50, 125, 150 and 200 from 2004 with the Liberty / Vespa LX pair (the RH goes up to 2024-2025); Liberty Sport 2006-2008; Liberty Delivery / PTT 2011-2014 and Elettrico 2011-2017 with the reverse-thread LH; Liberty iGet 125 and 150 from 2024 and 50 from 2025. The GP windscreen is for the Liberty 50, 125 and 150 2025-2026.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know if my Liberty has a left-hand thread?
Unscrew the LH mirror: if it comes off turning clockwise, the thread is left-hand and you need the FAR "reverse thread" mirror. From 2024 the iGet has a left-hand M10x1.25 LH mirror.
Does the same mirror fit the Liberty and the Vespa LX?
Yes, the chrome Liberty / Vespa LX pair is shared by the two Piaggio scooters; check the years on the product page.
Is there a windscreen for the Liberty?
