R 1200 GS 2004-2012 (air-cooled)

  • Original-style mirrors: LH and RH for the GS 2004-2012 and Adventure 2005-2013, plus the black LH/RH model for the GS 2007-2012. M10x1.5 mount, homologated.
  • Adventure: the black F 650 GS / R 1200 GS Adventure mirror, M8 mount.
  • GP Kompozit: 49 cm windscreen, clear or smoked, side deflectors for the Adventure 2006-2012 and handlebar riser.

R 1200 GS LC 2013-2018

  • BMW M10x1.5 mirrors: the black F / GS / R series mirror, the touring version with extended stem and the BMW versions of KRK panoramic, Blindo and folding Supertouring; plus the non-homologated Dark Saber.
  • GP Kompozit: 49 and 55 cm touring windscreens, 44 and 52 cm screens, headlight and indicator guards, radiator guard, cardan slider, front axle sliders and side stand extension; many parts are shared with the R 1250 GS.

How to choose

First identify the series: air-cooled (up to 2012) or LC (from 2013). BMW mirrors screw in with an M10x1.5 thread on both sides and are sold one per side, as seen by the seated rider. For clamp mirrors there is the M10x1.50 adapter. Search by Motorcycle filters everything by year.

Years and versions covered

For the air-cooled series you will find mirrors for the R 1200 GS 2004-2012 and Adventure 2005-2013, with GP windscreen and handlebar riser 2004-2012 and deflectors for the Adventure 2006-2012. For the LC, the F / GS / R mirrors cover the GS 2011-2018 and the LC Adventure 2014-2018; touring windscreens, screens, indicator guard (2013-2021) and GP protection are shared with the R 1250 GS. The black F 650 GS / R 1200 GS Adventure mirror covers the Adventure 2005-2018.

Frequently asked questions

Are the air-cooled and LC R 1200 GS mirrors the same?

No. For the GS 2004-2012 there are the original-style mirrors and the black LH/RH model; for the LC 2013-2018 the black F / GS / R mirror and the KRK, Blindo and Supertouring models. The mount stays M10x1.5.

Do the R 1250 GS windscreens also fit the R 1200 GS?

The 49 and 55 cm touring windscreens and the 44 and 52 cm screens do, but only on the LC from 2013. For the air-cooled GS 2004-2012 there is the dedicated 49 cm windscreen.

Are the mirrors homologated?

All FAR mirrors on this page are homologated, except the Dark Saber. It is stated on every product page.
