FAR – Fabbrica Accessori Ricambi ist ein Unternehmen, das auf die Entwicklung, Homologation und Produktion von Zubehör und Ersatzteilen für Motorräder und Motorroller spezialisiert ist. Seit über 50 Jahren entwickeln wir technische Komponenten für die Welt der Zweiräder – homologierte Rückspiegel, Beleuchtungssysteme, Blinker, LED-Komponenten und CNC-gefräste Teile – sowohl für den Aftermarket als auch für die OEM-Produktion.

Unsere Produktion vereint italienisches Design, technische Forschung und Fertigungsqualität mit dem Ziel, zuverlässige, leistungsstarke und international anerkannte Produkte anzubieten.

Unsere Geschichte

Die außergewöhnliche Geschichte von FAR begann vor hundert Jahren, als Cesari Celso in Rigosa di Borgo Panigale mit der Produktion von ISOTTA-Fahrrädern begann. Heute feiern wir über fünfzig Jahre Tätigkeit des 1969 von seinem Sohn Cesari Gaetano und seiner Frau Sara gegründeten Unternehmens. Die Geschichte von FAR ist die Geschichte eines Unternehmens, seiner Produkte und der Familie, die es immer noch führt: eine Geschichte, die von Innovation, Kreativität, Stil und Qualität geprägt ist, die das Made in Italy auszeichnen und die Motorradfahrer auf der ganzen Welt seit einem halben Jahrhundert schätzen.

1922 · Die Ursprünge

Die 1922 von Celso Cesari begonnene Tätigkeit wurde auch nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg mit hervorragenden Ergebnissen fortgesetzt und das ISOTTA-Sortiment erweitert. Die renommierten Fahrräder COMETA und FARFALLINO wurden auf den Markt gebracht, auf denen die PIPA FRASTAGLIATA montiert wurde, eine Innovation, die noch heute von allen Herstellern verwendet wird. Im Jahr 1946 wurden einige Mopeds mit SAMP-Motor in die Produktion aufgenommen.

1952 · Der Wendepunkt – FIAR entsteht

Als Celso Cesari 1952 in den Ruhestand ging, übernahm sein Sohn Gaetano die Geschäfte, der die raschen Marktveränderungen erkannte und den Wirtschaftsboom nutzte, um die FIAR (Fabbrica Italiana Accessori Ricambi) zu gründen und das Geschäft endgültig auf die Welt der Motorräder auszurichten. So begann die Produktion von Ersatzteilen für PIAGGIO- und INNOCENTI-Motorroller.

1958 · Die Expansion

1958 eröffnete Gaetano Cesari Motorradhändler mit Werkstätten für die Marken MOTO MONDIAL, MOTOCICLI MM, MOTO BARTALI, MOTO DEVIL und MOTO FRERA. FIAR wurde einer der größten italienischen Hersteller von Zubehör und Ersatzteilen für Mopeds – Windschutzscheiben, Schalldämpfer, Rückspiegel, Räder, Gepäckträger – mit Exporten von bis zu 72 % der Produktion.

1969 · FAR S.p.A. entsteht

1969 entstand dank des Wachstums die FAR S.p.A. in einem modernen Werk in Zola Predosa (BO), im Herzen des Motor Valley – dem Distrikt großer Marken wie Ducati, Moto Morini, Malaguti, Minarelli, Malanca und Cimatti.

2000er Jahre · Das globale Zeitalter

In den 2000er Jahren, unter der Leitung von Marco Cesari, wurde die FAR S.r.l. mit neuen Technologien und Modellen bereichert und bestätigte ihre Führungsposition bei der Herstellung von Rückspiegeln und Blinkern für Motorräder und Motorroller.

Heute · Die neue Generation

Heute, über 50 Jahre nach der Gründung, machen die Kinder von Marco Cesari – Emanuel, Diego und Valentina – ihre ersten Schritte im Unternehmen, bereichern es mit neuen Ideen und stellen ihren unternehmerischen Instinkt auf die Probe.

FAR – Fabbrica Accessori Ricambi is a company specialized in the design, homologation and manufacturing of accessories and spare parts for motorcycles and scooters. For over 50 years we have been developing technical components for the two-wheel industry — homologated rearview mirrors, lighting systems, turn signals, LED components and CNC-machined parts — supplying both the aftermarket and OEM sectors.

Our production combines Italian design, engineering research and manufacturing quality, with the aim of delivering reliable and high-performance products recognized worldwide.

Our story

The extraordinary story of FAR began 100 years ago when Cesari Celso started to manufacture ISOTTA bicycles in Rigosa, Borgo Panigale. Today we celebrate over fifty years of the factory, founded in 1969 by his son Gaetano Cesari and his wife Sara. The story of FAR is the story of a factory, of its products, and of the family that still runs it — a story built on innovation combined with the creativity, the style and the quality that characterize Made in Italy, appreciated by motorcyclists all around the world for half a century.

1922 · The origins

The business started by Celso Cesari in 1922 continued after the Second World War with great results and the expansion of the ISOTTA range, introducing the famous COMETA and FARFALLINO bicycles, which featured the PIPA FRASTAGLIATA, a concept still used today by all bicycle manufacturers. In 1946, moped models with SAMP engine were added to production.

1952 · The turning point — FIAR

When Celso Cesari retired in 1952, his son Gaetano succeeded him and, sensing the rapid market changes and taking advantage of the economic boom, established FIAR (Fabbrica Italiana Accessori Ricambi), moving the business definitively into the motorcycle world. Production of spare parts for PIAGGIO and INNOCENTI scooters began.

1958 · Expansion

In 1958 Gaetano Cesari opened dealerships with after-sales workshops for brands such as MOTO MONDIAL, MOTOCICLI MM, MOTO BARTALI, MOTO DEVIL and MOTO FRERA. FIAR became one of the biggest Italian moped accessory and spare-part manufacturers — windscreens, silencers, rearview mirrors, wheels, parcel shelves — with exports of up to 72% of production.

1969 · FAR S.p.A. is founded

In 1969, as a result of its growth and success, FAR S.p.A. was founded in a modern establishment in Zola Predosa (Bologna), in the heart of the Motor Valley — the industrial district home to major brands such as Ducati, Moto Morini, Malaguti, Minarelli, Malanca and Cimatti.

The 2000s · The global era

In the new global market of the 2000s, FAR S.r.l., run by Marco Cesari, is enriched with new designs and technologies, confirming its leadership as a manufacturer of rearview mirrors and blinkers for mopeds and motorcycles.

Today · The new generation

Today, fifty years after its foundation, FAR S.r.l. opens its doors to the new generations: Marco’s sons Emanuel and Diego, and his daughter Valentina, are taking their first steps in the business, enriching it with new and high-performing ideas and testing their own entrepreneurial instinct.
